Yo, folks!!! Today is Alex's birthday. Would you believe he's barely halfway into his 30s??? I've been doing wine a lot longer than he's been alive - and Verne's been a wino probably longer than his parents have been around!!

Hey Guys, thanks for the Birthday wishes. Half way into my 30's and I am a lucky man. Eight weeks ago I received the best birthday gift ever. A brand new daughter Sophia. She was born a tiny baby, but is now rapidly growing and she's already eyeballin' my wine cellar for future raiding. Bob, thanks and I hope you guys are all doing well.

Alex - Congrats on little Sophia's arrival! That's one of my all-time fav names for a woman... was my maternal grandmother's, who passed on before I even arrived on the scene.

We are indeed enjoying the improved weather..... only 90 degrees when we left church at 10:30 this morning, instead of the 102 at that time last week (headed for 110 that afternoon).

(Needing a PN for pork loin this evening but still reluctant to open the cellar... may choose a Nebbiolo instead from one of the wine fridges....)
