A nicely aged wine of 12 years, the wine was just beginning to show signs of colour change, with hints of brick behind its garnet color. You could smell the dusty from the Rutherford component of the fruit, a bit of soy, good slightly gritty mouth texture, more dense and deeper fruit sensation than the newer Cain Five. Caught at a good time for consumption
