I would like to ask that how long a normal red wine or white wine can store in a room temparature ?<BR>Any expired date ? <BR>i appreciate someone will reply !

Welcome to the board. Red wines are usually served at about 65 Fahrenheit (I'm not the best at converting Fahrenheit to Centigrade). White wines are usually served at 55 to 60. It's best to store wine at about 55 degrees Fahrenheit but they can tolerate temperatures up to 70 degrees. Best to limit exposure to light, sunlight and vibration. Different wines have different aging capacity and how they are stored contributes to how well they age. Most wines are probably best served at low room temperature (red wines) or slightly chilled (white wines). A basic wine book such as "Wine for Dummies" will answer many of your questions about storage, types of wines, which ones are long living, etc. I still refer to this book quite often.<p>[This message has been edited by wondersofwine (edited 04-22-2003).]
