This Carmel valley winery has come a long way since I stumbled on it while vacationing in Carmel back in the late 70s or early 80s(The memories the 2nd thing to go). This is one impressive bottle and even more so as my local pusher got it on close-out from his distributor at 50% off. A really solid bottling at 39 per and the use of the 5 bordeaux varietals all have had time enough to come together. Neat stuff. WW

These have been hiding i the back of the cellar but opened one yesterday. The nose is strong as Nellies breath and the finish has expanded bootifully. The 4&1/2 lapper finish is the killer. WW
