Hangar One Spiced Pear Vodka

($35) I am normally not one for flavored-vodkas, but having had and been impressed by this California distillery's other vodkas, I decided to try this guy. Like their raspberry, this is made just once a year, when the pears are in season.

HOLY COW! This is great! Neat or on the rocks this is the best infused vodka I have had. It is warm, soft, almost buttery and sweet pear on the nose and on the tongue with deep woodsy baking spices in the background. And it is so smooth, I can't believe it is 80 proof.
Just perfect for winter nights.
