I did mention that I was dining at Wallse in NYC Monday night but that was the night you were still in the Finger Lakes area (hence WW hitched a ride to Jersey with Georgie and Sis). I had a glass of a nice Blau Frankische wine and really good food at Wallse (appetizer of spatzle noodles with tiny bits of braised rabbit, wild mushrooms, corn and tarragon flavoring, entree of veal schnitzel with lingonberries and potato/cucumber salad, and dessert called Mohr im Hernd--a hazelnut chocolate souffle with chocolate ice cream). Next time I get to NYC maybe I can talk you and Ann into joining me for a dinner at Wallse. (The Fox Run Lemberger compared favorably to the Blau Frankische from Austria. The Blau Frankische was fruity and mild, light-bodied.)

Would that be a "blush" Pinot?
