Too many vote changes--not enough time to sort through it.

Here is what I propose. Read the list below; then, vote ONLY FOR THREE in the order of your priority, the highest priority being one.

Please, no vague comments--no comments at all--just a vote.

Also, I like Jackie's proposed date--May 14, 2004. Vote agree or disagree on that one, but do not offer your own date yet.

Places most mentioned:

Napa/Sonoma
Finger Lakes
Denver
St. Louis
Kansas City

Other places mentioned:

Chicago
Vancouver
Rio
Helotes
Atlantic City

May 14, 2004
Agree or disagree on date.

This is my vote--follow the same format:

Finger Lakes
Chicago
St. Louis

Date: agree

May 14--disagree--time of Nantucket Wine Festival and I'd prefer not to have to choose one or the other

Now we are cookin' Let's the rest of us keep it up. Incidentally, the May 14 could be May 15, since the 14 is a Friday.

May 15 wouldn't work for me either. I'd probably be in Nantucket for three or four nights (the festival has events for several days)and then one night on Cape Cod before flying elsewhere. But if that date works for the majority, you may have to go for it. Bucko's the only other one having a problem with the date so far.

Looks like this is working better. Our problem, it seems, will be agreeing on a date. I have no idea how to handle that one, 'cept to plead to those who say it is ng, that the date coincides with Jerry's birthday, and for that it is a good date.

It's easy to tally votes for the desired place, but I welcome someone's opinion on how to settle a date.

If Finger Lakes ends up being our chosen location, then one factor in picking a date will certainly have to be what works for Gene, no? That could help us narrow things down.

OK Gene, how's the date for Glenora? And by the way, I think we know your preferred location.

Boy, if Gene comes back with Napa, that could turn things around.
