Left Portland on morning flight

And betwen gates C15 and C17 is a retail area where I went for some morning chow. They had the souvenier shop opened and I spied some bottles and made a beeline for it. There were a few that were not available in Boston and even the prices were not that bad...though probably high if compared to local. while broswing, I noticed a sign that said no wine sales before 7:00am. Since my flight was at 7:00am, there was no change to bring home a few from the airport. Strange rule about 7:00 am. Seem so early yet why not 6:00am. Is this some establishment based rules like no liquour service between 2:00am until 11:00am?

No worries as my bag was pretty full anyways.
