I have encountered several wines lately that were so bad, I would like to warn others so that they can avoid making the same mistake.....

I would like to add the following wines to introduce my list:
Domaine De L'Enclos - although I have found numerous Cotes Du Rhones that are outstanding bargains, this one is reminiscent of old boot full of ash.
Also, Borghi D'Elsa, a most disappointing chianti.

Nothing wrong with talking about bad wine. Uusually see these postings under either the Rants and Raves forum or that of the individual kinds of wine such as the Rhone forum. It is also a good idea to try to express exactly what was wrong with them. Did it have a bad cork; was it over oaked; or if badly crafted, in what way. Was the fruit bad to begin with (poor harvest); do we not like the vinter's procedures, e.g. hot fermantation? These and many, many more factors can help create a bad wine; at least in our opinion!
