A minor infection led to cancellation of my surgery at the last minute. I may reschedule for early November or put it off longer. I'm back to work and to imbibing. Will report later on some wines I tasted at a local restaurant last night (at and following dinner with some Psychological Operations veterans in town for a conference.)

I hope the surgery's the sort of thing you can postpone without unhappy consequences. And I wish WW the best on his "lo-cab" diet.

Got to congratulate quijote on the quip about WW's "low-cab diet." That's a good one.

As long as I don't actually have to go on such a diet I'll be fine!.... And on the Australia/NZ/South African thread I see that the cab-deprived WW has weighted in favor of some SWs....Pretty soon he'll be buying large quantities of Blue Nun and Franzia....
