Going away for some piece and quiet for a while. Looking forward to this. I use to go traveling in Europe for months on end...now this has dwindled down to a couple of weeks but it is still going to be good. Will be visiting a few wineries in Santorini and will try to post picts on return. See you's later.

(friends are using our place for their vacation during the same time so I hope they don't trash the place...)

Thanks for the heads up KC. I will...if I can get over there...there is a general strike going on right now. Nothing is running..my flight is first thing tomorrow...it will probably be a mess.....still I'm hoping to get to the islands!

Back from my trip and boy was it a good time....I did not want to come back...specifically did not want to report to work again. I did do a couple of days of winery touring in Santorini and I'll post more in the coming days. The whites are very nice as are some of the VinSantos (which they claim originated in Santorini...Vins Santorini, get it? VinSantos....not sure I buy that entirely but okay). The reds are nothing to write home about at best and in general, can be pretty harsh....

I'll post but preferred to have stayed out on vacation for a while longer [img]http://wines.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]
