Back slightly early. Was in Santa Fe Springs picking up some cases shipped to my buddies warehouse. Was driving CBs' Jeep as its' larger than my Jimmy. Had pulled up to his loading dock next to an 18 wheeler that was idling with its' driver asleep. The warehousemen had loaded about 10 cases when I heard this horrible crunching sound. The drivers' side door and the back door on the drivers side were open to facillitate loading. The truck driver had started pulling out without closing his rear doors. The one on my side came out enough that it caught the top of the back door crunching it, then proceeded to the drivers door and did the same. Naturally the idiot had no idea what he'd done so we sprinted out and he pulled back. The only thing I could think of was what story I could possible cook up that would spare my life. We had to unload the wine, then spend 3 hours with the insurance cos', waiting for the tow truck, and getting a rental car. I called CB and informed her I was on my way home and needed to do some paperwork. Didn't faze her....she knew I was up to something. Was waiting by the front door. Even the Esprit blouse I bought her at the Factory outlets outside of Palm Springs didn't do much good. I can turn off the air-conditioning for the next week. "Dog-House Weener ".

That will probably cost you a new car, WW. Think of it as a small price to pay to get out of the doghouse. But now you've got a bunch of wine that had to sit in the hot sun for half a day...

Too bad that door didn't hit your head -- the truck would have suffered significant damage.........

Bucko and WW are both going to need some putty. Maybe I should invest in the company that produces it.
