Wow, the board has bogged down in hip-deep molasses! Navigation is suddenly painfully slow to impossible. Whassup?

Amazing how the dexterity decreases as the intake of the juice increases. WW

Wish I could make that attribution to this case, WW. Hadn't yet nipped the sauce for the evening when the molasses slow-down occurred. Glad whatever it was has now inflicted itself elsewhere.

Have had the same thing happen from time to time. Applied also to other sites and e-mail at the same time. This is due to a weak connection with the server. This could be due to ones own computer at the time or the server's. When it happens try reconnecting and rebooting to see if that helps. It can also be caused by the amount of traffic out on the web at the time.

Roger that, understand. But I'm on a cable modem, rather than dial-up service, so server problems are unusual. Had re-booted as first attempt at a cure, to no avail. Just glad the gremlin went somewhere else after a couple of hours.

I am online in three separate places, and slow down happens in all three at various times. Therefore, I believe it is server overload.
