heartbreaking losses me beloved Az. Cardinals have suffered. After completely dominating the Bears on offense and defense we found another way to give away a game. Gave me nightmares all night. As soon as this group discovers it can close out a game we have the players to become competitive. Derned near cried when I saw Leinarts' face when, for the second straight game, our Pro-Bowl kicker missed a field goal. Life goes on!WW

I switched over to the game when the news announcer said something about interesting developments in the Monday Night Football. When I started watching the Cardinals were ahead 23 to 7. Couldn't believe what happened. Felt so sorry for Denny Green, Matt Leinhart and the field goal kicker.

Forgive the smiley face. I forgot to change it.

Looked like it was going to be a blow-out, so went on to the sack. Big surprise when I picked up the newspaper this morning!

As a native St. Louisan I've always
been rather bitter towards Bidwell and the football Cardinals, but I did feel for them and their fans last night...

Hey, Verne, be a man. Better yet, just go down into your cellar and drown your sorrows. You'll be better for it, but you may need a long sabbatical after.
