I completely enjoyed being able to go downstairs to see the mess that my storage area (note the lack of the use of the term cellar....I'd be embarrassed by its current state). Started to put things back together and get things out that were not suppose to be in the room. As such, started to pull out potentials for a small get together of friends for the coming Thanskgiving holidays. Probably around 16 people or so so not too large.

So on my desk downstairs is a collection of wines.....still not finalized...but some thoughts.

Sparklers
(1) Glenora Brut
(2) Moscato D'Asti

Sissy Whites....but I like them
(1) A collection of whites from my trips this year to Greece (Santorini Assyrtiko), Hawaii (Volcano Winery), Finger Lakes (Dr. Frank K), Okanagan (Mission Hill) and Napa that I could pull just for interest sake so no shortage of wines here.
(2) Would really like to pull out a Sancere from 2004 as these have been really pretty lately.

Reds Tougher question
(1) 2002 Roty's Marsannay most likely candidate for Turkey duty
(2) Hard to ignore 2005 Bourgogne's right now too so Chevillon Bourgogne as alternate.
(3) 2001 Turchard Cab for Roast Duties
(4) 2002 Ladera Cab for Roast Duties
(5) 1995 Dunn Napa Valley in Magnum is looking at me in strange ways. May be the perfect time to pull this.....anyone have experience with this wine?

Dunn Napa -- I don't think is was their best bottling. I have in an old note to try again in 2007-8, so I'd pull a cork. I don't think it is going anywhere.

Thanks Bucko. I rarely have so many people there so this might be perfect!
