cabernet Xtreme glasses and used them for the 1st time yesterday. Can't really be as enthusiastic in my evaluation as I really am or would be accused of "pixxing" for these hummers. Accents the nose remarkably well and has a killer mouthfeel. Anywhoos, this is me story & I'm sticking wif-it. WW

As usual ole' buck-snort, you only read a small piece of the question. I too have been usuing Viniums fer 'lo these meeny, but the new EXTRENE is loads larger, the bowl more steeply and deeply configured and the the top narrowrer to accentuate the aromas. Does this ring a bell in the ole steeple now??? WW

I ain't in to extremes of any kind, including wine and wine glasses, you leather-tongued old buzzard. Plain ol' Vinum glasses works just fine for this old Okie.

I had the Extreme's 3-4 years ago and kept breaking them while washing due to forgetting how big they were after a bottle. As I recall, Bucko thought I should attend Betty Ford when I asked if this problem was one encountered by others...

I had bought a set of Naatchmans (sp?) some time ago and they have the same general shape and size. The Nactchmans were cheaper...much cheaper..around $4 a glass.

Amazon had a really great deal a few year ago on Spiegelau - before they were bought by Riedel. They were offering 6 Bordeaux glasses for $25 with 6 Burgundys thrown in free with free shipping. We got 6 sets.
