I had a glass of Francis Coppola black label Claret (cab) 2000 tonight. Huge fruit flavor!

How come nobody told me this was so darn good ?

Are there any other wines like this in the $10.00 – $15.00 range that I should try?

"waddya slow learner?"

Apparently ,

(I've had a bottle sitting around for a while, I just got around to opening it yesterday, . . .)

Thanks Drew

Popped the 2001 that we picked up at Costco in Flordia in April for $13.89 (seems to be some price creep). It was nice, but not great with broiled tenderloin with bacon rasher, and yellow cherry tomatoes vinaigrette. No, it wasn't opened too soon; it had nowhere to go.

I've always enjoyed Bonnydoon's Big House Red.

Great, I've probably walked past that stuff a dozen times in the last year and never been tempted. I guess it's off to the dunce corner for me as well.
