I have a friend who has recently been given a bottle of Lytons Brut Reserve 1934 from Champagne in France. He is not a champagne drinker and I fear would not really appreciate it for what it is. I have no idea about its worth and would appreciate it if someone could tell me whether it is rare and a little of the history.

Thanks.

Recommend you e-mail Tom Stevenson, the world's greatest expert on sparkling wine, and ask him. His address is: tom.stevenson@fizz.worldonline.co.uk.
