I have a bottle of Remy Martin Champagne Cognac. I've contacted Remy direct and was told
"We think that you effectively have a rare bottle of Rémy Martin Cognac .
This blend is the ancestor of our most prestigious cognac Louis XIII de
Rémy Martin Grande Champagne Cognac. Over 1200 different eaux-de-vie, aged
between 40 and 100 years of age, have been selected, all coming from the
best growth area, situated at the heart of the Cognac region, the Grande
Champagne. Three generations of cellarmasters have been working to produce
this single decanter."
What I'm unsure of is the actual value of it. Can anyone help or give me any info on how/where to get it valued?

Hi Sungy and welcome to the board. If it is the predecessor to the Louis X111 One of the major auction houses should be able to give you a gestimate as to what it mite bring at auction. The X111 sells for more than 1300. WW

Thanx for your reply. Am I right in thinking that sometimes its not the actual content but the decanter that is valuable?
