I recently found a case of William Hill Cabernet
: Sauvignon silver label 1985. I was wondering what the
: price value would be on this particular bottle of wine, and if it's a good wine.
: Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

The wine has dramatically faded -- I personally would avoid the wine.

Agree with Bucko. Actually I worked at William Hill until a couple of years ago, so I can definitely verify that! Trivia: There was actually a 1985 Cab Rsv, Gold label and Silver label made. The 1985 Reserve was considered pretty excellent in its time, but had already faded appreciably when I first tasted it in 1997. The Gold was the next level down, and the Silver label was not exactly the "pick of the litter" to begin with... pour it out!
