Hi AC and welcome to the board. If it doesn't kill your budget, or new love, and if you know someone in the wine business the Leonetti from Your sister state, IMHO, is one of the great Merlots in this country. Not cheap at around 69 per it is luscious. Happy Anni. WW

Where in Oregon are you?

If you're near portland, I can give you some shop suggestions that might have it. Is there a particular reason you are going for merlot? If no, march into E&R Wine and buy a bottle of Egly-Ouriet Brut Champagne...
About 40 bones, but oh so wonderful...

I will probably be celebrating my second aniversary (coming up this month) with that bottle or one of the others from Egly.

Plus, the folks at E&R are so wondefully nice and helpful you will make them your regular wine stop.

Everyone seems so helpful here!

I'm off in Hillsboro... my b/f is picking it up on the way to pick me up...

Anywhere in Beaverton or Hillsboro that has good wine?

Thanks so much!

Ick, I hated hilsboro when my route was out there. Weirdest roads around. I would take the time to hit 26 to 217 then I5 north to to Corbet, follow Corbet to Carolina, take a left on Carolina and then it will be in the shopping complex at the corner of Macadam and Carolina - E&R wine shop.
