I HAVE A SPECIAL EVENT JUST AROUND THE CORNER. I WOULD LIKE GET GET A BOTTLE OF WINE FOR THIS. MY GUEST ENJOYS A MERLOT BUT I PREFER SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF A SPUMANTE. IS THERE ANYTHING IN BETWEEN WE BOTH WOULD ENJOY? ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS.

You might want to try a couple of the Ecco Domani Wines being imported by Gallo. They either have up front fruit or a little sugar in them because they taste sweet. They have a Merlot as well as fairly complete line that you can find wherever wine is sold.
