I have found a wine that I truly enjoy after reading several of the suggestions on this site....it is Principato Rosso. Anyway, my question is.......Is it normal to wake up totally dehydrated after sharing a bottle of wine? My boyfriend and I split a bottle of the Principato Rosso last night. Both of us woke in the early morning hours and couldn't get enough water. Was it the Wine?

I find that a glass of water before I start drinking wine, and a glass of water for every couple of glasses of wine through the night does the trick. Without it, headache and thirst follow.
