My girlfriend and I have been given the GREAT task of tracking down a certain wine for an early Thanksgiving (tomorrow). The information we have to track this wine down is as follows:

-We are looking for a RED WINE. (easy enough..)

- The name contains the word "Silver", which will probably be the second word in the name.

That, I am afraid, is all we have to go on. If there is anyone on here tonight that might know what we are looking for/talking about, your help would be, well, truly helpful!

Well, I (like several others) like a strong, bold, red Zinfandel. Check out the thread on this site. If your more toward sweeter stuff, maybe a lambrusco.. I don't know... where are you from? WP

The only wineries that spring to mind are Silver Oak (a winery in Napa Valley) and Benjamin Silver Wines (in Santa Barbara). Both make red wines. If not those, then I'm stumped. Good luck with your search.

You mite also look at Silverado from Napa. The Silver Oaks have 2 offerings the Alexander Valley and the Napa both of which are fairly expensive and are not reccomended for early drinking. Happy Holidays. WW

Thats great, that is what I kept coming up with, Benjamin Silver Wines.

I live in New Hampshire and am getting ready to go find this/these wines. Thank you all for your help last night and this morning.

Good day to you all.
