There was a wine that I tasted at a wine and cheese party, It was fruity and was laced with brandy. Im not sure if it was domestic or imported , The price was around $ 80.00 a bottle. Could someone help me with this, as it was truly had a interesting flavor. Also the year of vintage was around 1980 I think.

That could be port or Madeira, or maybe sherry. And there are so many of them that your question is likely to remain unsanswered unless you can be more specific.

Foodie, Thank You for your help. I do know that it was a port, All I can say is it was Heaven to the taste. I will get the name of the next wine that I enjoy,tasting, I hope to learn much more, about wines as I go along.
