About how long can you keep a wine used for cooking in the fridge before it is no longer good for cooking?

It really depends on what you're cooking and with what. The best guide is the organ between your mouth and your eyes. If it gives the OK, you can cook or sip to your heart's delight. If it smells a little off, don't worry about marinating a steak in it. If it smells worse, consider how it compares with the red wine vinegar in your cabinet. If it is worse than that decide what in or outside your house needs to die.
