1979 Paul Masson Cabernet Sauvignon

I have a bottle of 1979 Paul Masson Cabernet Sauvignon. It has been stored in my basement. Can anyone tell me if this is a good wine or brand and if it is still okay to drink. thanks

Is it o.k. to drink? Well, it won't hurt you, but it wasn't intended to be a 20 year wine. Assuming it has constantly cool storage it my be tasty...though the odds are against it. Only thing you can do is pull the cork and see.
