Bourgogne Faiveley - how long do I age?

I was wondering if anyone might know how long one should age a 1998 Pinot Noir from the Faiveley Vineyard in Bourgogne? Thank you.

Pinot Noir wines do not really need to age. Most Pinot Noirs will tast the same the day you buy them or if you wait 3-5 years.

Well, not exactly. Wines DO change in the bottle, & 3-5 years WILL make a difference in a decent pinot.

In answer to your original question Joey, I'm guessin' you have the 98 Bourgogne Rouge "Joseph Faiveley". That is one of the lower priced wines from the producer (e.g. not a grand cru) & will hold out a couple more years if stored at 60 degrees +/-.
