Hi everyone!
Well my selfguided tour through the world of wines continues.
The first thing is that I found a "free" program on the internet called Wine Celler. It allows me to set up a virtual wine celler. I can track, rate, and comment on the wines that I have. The other great help has been everybody on the wine board.
The lastest wines that I have tried has been,
- Lindemans (Bin 45) 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia. This was a wine we tried at a wine tasting class last month for Cabs.
- Abarbanel White Grenache 1997 from France. I hated this wine, but it fairness I would be interested in anybodys comments about this type of wine.
- Just finishing a bottle of Robert Mondavi Coastal Chardonnay 1998. This is the best of the 3.
I still have the Barbera D'Alba as my top choice so far. This surprises me somewhat for I tend to be a white wine type of person.
I have several other types of wine lined up in my wine celler (a box in my closet.) I hope everyone doesn't mind sharing my journey with me. I find everyone's comments very informative.
The next wine class is Monday and we are sampling wine from Australia. I'll share what we had next weeks.
Thanks and regards,
Chuck
