My girlfriend foung this old bootle of wine at her mothers house. It has the following on the label

Bordeaux
Monopole Rouge

Monopoles Alfred Rostchild
Grand Vin

No. 029708

1950

Question is: Was it a good wine? Can it still be drank? Should it be drank or just thrown away?

I'm not sure whats is worth but I recently started collecting wine. Would you be willing to sell it. The reason I ask is because I have a couple of antiquey bottles from the early 40's and a few from the late 60's.

I've been checking through all my resources and I can't find that wine anywhere, bseberle. If you and ryanmassey can come to some agreed worth, sell it.

Hi bseberle and welcome to the board. Was it a good wine? Who knows. Was it a great wine? Definately not. The worth is what you 2 can agree on. Good bartering. WW
