Tailgating beverage choices

With football season upon us (college is king down here in Georgia) what do you choose to drink with the tailgating buffet? My experience has been beer and Jack Daniels. I have never seen wine on a tailgating table. Any ideas?

If you do any spicy grilling on the tailgate as Bobby Flaye did at the Brown's game on Food Channel; recommend zinfandel, syrah/shiraz, mourvedre, or Rhoney blends.

They use to joke about the Candlestick crowd in San Francisco tailgating with quiche and chardonnay ( or was it Chablis?) If you like wine, take wine.
