Does anyone have any feedback or info on the new Chateau Montelena SAINT VINCENT red?
Apparently the good Cabernet is no longer available...and I'll miss it

Hi Steve and welcome to the board. The St. Vincent is a new red being introduced by Montelena but I'm confused by the statement that" the regular Montelena is no longer available and you'll miss it ". The estate Montelena 1997 vintage has just been delivered and the 98 and 99 vintages are being offered as futures even as we type by fine wine shops all across the land. And of course the Calistoga Cuvee 98 will be delivered in August. What are you going to miss? Your post has me confused as I stated. winoweenie
