Hi Just wondering if someone could give me a little info. on the classic characteristics and styles of Shiraz? Thanks, Especially the Rosemount Shiraz.

Some of the most commonly noted characteristics of shiraz are: black pepper & spice, medium bodied, easy to drink (often without food).

For more info on the Rosemount Shiraz & shiraz blends, go to the "search" function on this site and type "Rosemount shiraz" in the Search Words field...set the search for "Australia/..."

For other suggestions re: good shiraz, just type in "shiraz" instead. Lots of discussion on the Board about the affordable wines.
