Jackie,

All my light bulbs are lit up, and I haven't deleted any cookies, nor have I cleared my history files or anything like that. I'm using IE 5.0 on Windows 98. What to do?

It would help if you kept coffee out of your keyboard......

I had this happen once. I cleared my cache, wiped out all of my cookies, reset my cookies, and all was well with the world.

Cleared cache, deleted all history files and all cookies. Now I have no light bulbs whatsoever. What gives?

It takes one post to bring up the bulbs again.

I have treated more bronchitis this past month than I have in years. Hope you are back to your old self soon.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm recovering slowly but this was an awful bout of bronchitis... Temp of 103.4 and a really hard cough. I think it will take me another week or so to get my energy back. Thanks all for taking up the slack....

Cheers,
Jackie

I cleared my cache, I got rid of all the cookies (am getting larger than normal) and got rid of the history (can't remember what I used to be).

Regardless, the light bulbs become more prolific as time passes and the system says that the last time I logged on was 07 January, 2001.

Now all the light bulbs are shining brightly.

What next? What should I do?

Don't know..... been having wierd, intermittent problems lately myself, e.g. lightbulbs being on, then disappear after reading the first message. There is a Ghost in the Machine......

I keep needing to log on, so I have no lights half the time. My cookies are fine on other sites, so It's another odd one.

At the top right of the page, there is a link to "preferences". It might be a good idea to check and make sure you are set to "remember" password in your cookie file for 1 year. (Obviously cookies need to be enabled for that to work.)

That may help.

Jackie, Have done that several times. Thanks though! It's not really a big deal, certainly keeps me from forgetting my password!
