When I make a post on an existing thread my password comes up automatically, but when I post a new topic I have to type in the password. The icons on archived threads are still frowning.

Well, we are in the lull before the storm. All kids have checked in from points south advising of what is to come. Sigh.

Hey now, leave my desert buddy alone. Those flamingo legs clacking together thru those bermuda shorts is a tourist attraction for miles around.

Drew, the elements have been especially unkind to you this year. We are getting blasted at the moment. I went to try to do some shopping and it's impossible to see past the front bumper. Fuhgeddaboudit!

What's a little weather. I'm launching out of here at 0700 in the morning in my 4X4, picking up another guy and driving fifty miles to the VA Hospital in Togus for what we call Operation Wheelchair, whereby we pick up those vets confined to wheelchairs and bring them to church services, and enjoy refreshments with them afterwards. Then it's home to the wife and wine.

Please add my condolences to Drews. Got a lot colder here today. High at 77*. By-the-feather there Herr Heron-Docktor, your pix-i-ture has appeared on the board in shorts. I enlarged it and have used it to lure all the pidgeons over to my neighbors yard. Scuse me whilst I apply some Sun-lotion. WW

Well, we're getting clobbered here in central MA. I went into the shop about 3 and was supposed to work until 10. The Whole Foods Market and all the other shops in the area closed down about 5 and the boss sent us minions off home at 5:15. On a road I normally can get up to about 65 mph, I was only able to do 30 - 35. I guess it's about time to head down to the cellar and pick something good to warm me up.
