WS (6/30/01, p. 102) has a nice article on one of our local restaurants called Primo, down in Rockland. It is run by one or our star local chefs, Melissa Kelly. It was worth the trip (3/4 - 1 hr) during the buildings previous incarnation with different people when it was called Jessica's Bistro. Now it's a hard reservation during season, but worth the trip during a snow storm. More and more local chefs are taking Melissa's tack in utilizing all locally produced products which are world class. We have been enjoying Jonathan's Restaurant in Blue Hill since before we moved here in '88. It has now morphed into a pure bistro, and only uses local ingregients even in the dead of winter. Both of these great restaurants have wonderful wine lists as well.

IK, almost made it to your neck o' the woods a couple years ago...Acadia N.P. was the intended destination. You continue to build a strong case for follow-through on those plans! cp
