Get your hands on a book titled "Encyclopedia of Home Winemaking" ($16.95) by DRapeau & Vanasse...it will answer all your questions.

If you have trouble finding the book, let us know and we'll steer you to a source.

If you know anyone who currently makes wine, go over there and help or watch how it's done. There is much to be said for practical experience as opposed to book learning. With that said, another book that I found helpful is "The Art of Making Wine"($9.95) by Anderson/Hull. Also, the store where you would buy your winemaking supplies should be a good source of info as well, though more for tips than as a complete education.
