Well I finally bought one and now I'm wondering how to keep it clean. I think I've seen bendable brushes with floppy things on the end, but my main question is can't I just rinse and swirl with warm water and let it dry? I mean, as long as the wine hasn't started to dry, warm water should get most, if not all of it out, right?

That's all I do. If they start to get a little dirty, I put TSP in the decanter and fill with water, leaving it to soak overnight. Rinse several times and you have a sparkling clean decanter.
