Attended the first day of VinExpo in NYC. Sparsely attended, which was good for those of us who dislike crowds. The thing is a bit disorganized--most wine booths were out of glasses most of the time.

But, we managed to taste some fine Portuguese, Cava and Austrian stuff. Will report on them later. Got to go again today.

I still have my pass hanging in my office here.
Was just too busy to leave for even three days. Hope to make the next one, would like to hear how it all turned out.

The turn-out was low, but that was good for those of us who went--less crowded, less NY shuffling.

When I get a chance, I will post on some of the wines I discovered--Portuguese and Spanish, especially.
