Out of the 02 so on to the new vintage. Still as black as Buck-Snorts' heart.Nose very shy at 1st but with an hour in the glass the black fruits and spices emerge. A huge mouthfull of juice that needs another 2-5 to really start swinging. These old vines really put out potent juice, but I love it. 91/93 39 by the box. 14.5% alc. WW

Had another and the results wererepititious. However this time I left about 1/3 of a glass in the bottle and stuck it in the cellar uncorked. This is definately an ager. Forgot about it for 2 days then poured it yesterday afternoon watching the ASU and Georgia contest. The aroma was comparable to walking into a florist wedged between a Penzys' shop and a feed-lot. Tannins were as tame as a Morman missionary and the juice went down like liquid velvet. Not opening another bottle for 3-5. WW

So I lied! It's a carpet mans perogative to fib. Was having turkey chilli and no zin really jumped out and said "Drink Me" so opted for this bad boy. Still like liquid nite but really did the job with the big bowl as I watched me beloved Cards dismantle the Seahawks. Lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. No change in scoring or outlook. WW

Needed a real jolt to have courage 'nuff to watch my beloved Suns play the "glitterati" frum Hollywoodland. The bottle and the battle combined to keep my eyes wide-open for the entire game. Seems as the old saying goes "the news of our demise is greatly pre-mature" (hehehe) WW
