Something I've never tried before. The Marselan grape is apparently a cross between a cabernet Sauvignon and a Grenache.

Rather interesting drink, (but too much oak ruined it for me). Does not taste like Cab juice mixed with Syrah juice. Instead it takes a bit from each grape.

The color is very dark a la cab without the deep purple, a bit more black and brickish actually. Very aromatic nose, with a bit of spicyness and toast (from the wood?), but still a rather reserved nose.

Lots of fruit, dried fruit, too much oak unfortunately and spicy palate. Medium finish, with some tannins. Kinda like the fullness of a cab with some of the depth but a wildness of a grenache, without the sweetness.
