Tried this tonight with samosas, aloo tikki, and other Indian foods. Lots of floral and fruit on the nose, and lots of pears and riesling-like flavors on the palate. The minerally-spicy ginger-flavored kick is there, but it's not as strong as I like. In any case, a tasty wine for spicy foods. 12.5% Alc., $9 (Otto's Bayside)

Happy Diwali!
