Long Time no See!

Anyways, I attended the McMinnville Wine and Food Classic this last weekend. Overall, I wasn't too impressed. Not many of Oregon's more interesting wineries showed up...No St. Innocent, no Torii Mor.

I tried several of the offerings from Southern Oregon because I lack familiarity with them. Their syrahs tended to be nice, but overpriced. 30 bucks for a something I could get out of a 10 buck CDR. The one wine I did pick up was a Chateau Bianca Wetzel's Fireside Port. I will give the full notes on this when I crack it open.

Good to be back

Yeah, they were there, as well as Willamette Valley.
