grilled Jalapeno Shrimp...

I'll be marinating tiger shrimp in finely chopped pickled jalapenos, jalapeno juice, and a little garlic for about 45 min, then throwing them on the grill. Is there a good wine pairing?

I will be making this at a graduation party, and there will be minors present. I would be having the wine with the leftover shrimp (if there is any), which I will probably be eating cold.

A German Spatlese Riesling or a California Gewurztraminer. Others will say Alsace on the later, but something a little sweet goes with hot.

Latter, latter...... you don't wont to spel lik WW due U?

Alsace Gewurztrtaminer is often sweet (and I'm not talking VT), but I'll grant you that it is not designated on the label except for VT and SGN.

Went with the BEER because I had no time to shop for the wine. They were a huge success all around! Everyone was impressed. Of coarse, no leftovers. Can't wait to do this one again.

My first inclination toward a suggested beverage was also BEER.

However I would be willing to try the Riesling or the Gewurztraminer because they'd most likely have been my second choice.

Duane did you also go with the tequila in your marinade? (I like to marinade my shrimp in Jack Daniels.)
