...to the Eagles concert - Long Road out of Eden. We saw them last back in 1994, during their Hell Freezes Over tour. The guys are now all in their 60's, but they can still get it on. Maybe Timothy Schmit can't quite hit those high notes like he used to and the wrinkles on all of them are a bit more pronounced, but the sound is pretty much still there. We had a great time! Next up for us is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in three weeks.

Oooh, the Eagles....I'm so jealous! I wore the grooves out of their LP's back in the 70's. Love the group still.

I took in an Eagles concert a couple years ago in Raleigh. I liked the way they introduced one of their songs calling it their wives' song "Take It to the Limit" speaking of credit cards.

It was a good concert.
I'm going to a Dec. 30th concert in Charlotte of Avette Brothers and Jason Webley (I didn't realize at first that Webley is an accordion player--that will be a change for me.) Hope to go to a couple traveling musicals--"25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" in Fayetteville and
"Chorus Line" in Raleigh. Durham has opened a new Performing Arts Center (opened with B.B. King) and I may try to catch something there this winter.
