Go, Pats!!! If ole Adam hadn't missed those two FG's early on, it wouldn't have had all that excitement at the end.

Great game. I'm glad it did not go into overtime; too much beer and vino.

Even I had to put down the NY Times Sunday puzzle and pay attention at the end! Not to mention I won $40 in the pool!

That was one of the best games in years! I enjoyed it even more than the Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir I was drinking!

Congrats to both teams. It was really exciting.

Even as a Panther fan, I have to say it was a great game! I chuckled because so many radio sportscasters before the game were saying that no one was really interested in a Patriots-Panthers matchup, yet afterwards they were saying it was one of the greatest Super Bowls ever for fan excitement!
Also, not as low-scoring as expected.

Pretty tasteless considering lots of kids were watching.

Bucko,
Your comment reminds me of the time we had a wrestling event going on in Fayetteville. Not the authentic Olympic type wrestling you see in college or high school (one of my nephews captained the Duke wrestling team and tried out for the Barcelona Olympics), but the "fake" wrestling put on by theatrical type hulks with eye-gouging, flinging around the ring, and all kinds of violence. One lady wrote a letter to the editor of the paper complaining that some of the women in the audience flashed their boobs at the ring and she did not think that was appropriate with children in the audience. (I wanted to say that exposing the children to that kind of wanton violence probably does more psychological damage that a flash of breasts but never penned the letter. They won't print anonymous letters and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of having it attached to my name).
I agree that the Janet Jackson/Timberlake stunt was tasteless (I wasn't watching at the time) but when were the Jacksons noted for their taste anyway?

Like oll Dandy Don used to say on Monday Night Football "turn out the lights the partys over".

Man! What a game. I thought we were going to have another heart attack OT game, until Kasey shanked that kick off.

But I don't agree with the MVP. Yes Brady was very good. But more impressive was the way that the Pats O-Line shut down the Panthers D-Line. I would give the MVP to the Pats O-Line. But of course I'm an old O-Lineman myself.

Congrats Pats fans. I hope to see ya'll in the SB next year.

MTV is the big winner. Tons off free publicity that is probably worth millions to them.

Sure is causing a holier than thou flap that is fun to watch! We tend to be pretty hypocritical in this country.

Just when the "boob tube" starts to earn its name, the cameras turn away....

Sure gives "half-time" a new meaning....

Ok, I'll stop now.
