Did you see the Ravens destroy the Patriots?
Tom Brady looked like a punk! Good luck, Verne for the Cardinals.

What sloppy but great game.
Of course I'm disappointed, but also excited for the Packers' future.
Now I really have to come to terms with how I feel about Favre in Minnesota. When gametime comes, I think I'll be pulling hard for the Vikes, as strange as that sounds to me.

That's my only consolation tonight -- that I still get to cheer on my favorite player in the playoffs. The Pack may be done, but I'm happy that I'll still have some football to watch this season.

Even if it is somewhat odd to cheer on that purple team . . .

I thought football was a European sport; you know where they kick a little round white ball around until it goes into somebody's cage.

How do you figure, Eng?? While I admit some fondness for the Patriots since they're my local team, they're not MY team. I've been a fan of the Forty Niners since 1958, through good times and bad. That was when Y. A. Tittle was still the quarterback (remember him) and he had Hugh McElhenny, Joe Perry and John Henry Johnson for his backfield. They were called the Million Dollar Backfield and all four went to the Hall of Fame. That's when football was football. That's what I'm saying.

The Cardinals-Packers game--what a barn burner! Most of the playoff games so far have been one-sided but not this one! I hated to see either team lose when it came to it. All my favorite teams didn't even make the playoffs this year so I'm kind of rooting for San Diego and would like to see them take on Minnesota or Arizona. (Which means it will probably by Dallas or New Orleans in the Super Bowl against anyone but San Diego.)
