Read the Wine Touring thread....

KC celebrated a birthday with us here in Cal-i-for-ny-a!!!

It was absolutely wonderful having him and Judy here. (And of course Don, also). Unfortunately, the trip was cut a bit short due to ticket/flight problems, but a wonderful time was had. (Just wish the weather was a bit more co-operative, and the AC's in places worked a bit better!!)

Let's see... this was #50... no 55... no... gosh, I must have lost count!

Love you Dad!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't need BD wishes -- he needs a new set of teeth carved. Anyone got a good block of hickory?

Thanks for the B'day wishes - you too Bucko (I guess). We had a great time out there with CG, et al. Toured some wineries (more on that soon), had some great food (ditto), had a really wonderful time with the grandkids. I wish we had at least another week to stay out there.

It may suck getting old for some but not for me, at least not totally. I'm not buying wines that have to age over 15 years anymore, so we're getting some immediate satisfaction when we get wine. I'm able to get the senior's price on most menus (including Hooters). Most importantly, I'll never be as old as the Weener (where is he by the way?).

Just back from a few days leave to work on getting ready to move (many hours spent awaiting delivery of the washer and dryer which finally arrived at 8:15 PM Friday evening!). Belated happy birthday greetings.
