We're popping a '97 Fox Creek JSM (Shiraz, Cab Franc and Cab Sauv.) and will pair with Filet Mignon, Garlic mashers and salad. Serving home made Crab dip with crakers as an appetizer. Will serve that with a sparkler. We're at the beach, Ocean City Maryland) enjoying the much needed rain.

Doing up a nice batch of Shrimp Creole, a baking some sourdough French bread. Planning to go with a Riesling, but I haven't decided which one yet.

Both sound great! Think I'll sample some more old cru Beaujolais, maybe a Chiroubles or Fleurie.

Yeah, it was a fun race, anyway. They forgot to whisper in that gelding's ear, "You'll get 'em back if you run real fast!"
