At this point they deserve their own thread...

If Suppan, Weaver, and Carpenter all pitch to their abilities, we've got ourselves a series.

I would agree..unless those days off really took them out of game shape, Tigers are pretty much unstoppable now...

Hopefully, one team named Cardinals know how to close out a game. WW

Looks like the Tigers got cooled off by their long wait. They better stop their cat nap, ahem, or else -- the Cardinals are red hot.

In the words of Mr. Buck the elder,
GO CRAZY, FOLKS!!!!

Very exciting!!!

Great night for St. Louis and baseball.

I drank 2001 Field Stone Merlot (<500 cases produced) yummy wine, but not as good as the 03 Tamarack Merlot from last week.

Who'd a thunk it -- Cards in 5! Took a lot of people by surprise.

Although I know that the Cards were close before and deserving, I kinda feel very bad for the people of Detroit. This city has been hit hard so many times so recently with the auto industry (I use to live in Auburn Hills and work for GM). The city really looked at this as a way to cheer up the entire city....sorry for the downer.. but congrats to the Cards!
